What we do

What we do

Hope for Autism encourages positive autism practice through safe and inclusive practice. We provide opportunities for children, young adults and their families to feel less isolated, to have a voice, and to build community capacity.

What people are saying

Just a wee thank you very much and all at Hope for thinking of us and providing the tickets for Spider-Man.

J has been struggling so much to go anywhere as he’s been so anxious, as lots of our Autistic young people are on the lead up to big events like Christmas. He not only managed the cinema, but was so excited and happy throughout the whole movie. He laughed, he cried and he was amazed to see his superhero and all the special effects. Without the encouragement of those tickets l probably wouldn’t have taken J to the cinema in case it was too much for him. Thank you for the encouragement that l needed to be brave and let him try the cinema again without becoming too overwhelmed and having to leave.

You’ve all made a little Marvel fan extremely happy

K and l loved the movie too!
