How to support us...

Why become a member?

HOPE relies heavily on people’s generosity. Please support us and make a difference to the children with Autism and their families in North Lanarkshire. A good way to make sure you will access our services all year round, including children activities, newsletters, events, advice and support groups, is to become a member of HOPE for Autism. We suggest an annual donation of £16 towards the running costs of the group.

How can I make a donation?

There are many ways to make a donation:

1. To send us a donation: Please write the following on a piece of paper and send it to us with your donation:

I wish to Gift Aid my donation to the HOPE Group. I want all donations I’ve made since 6 April 2000 and all donations in the future to be Gift Aid until I notify you otherwise.

Printed Name:Printed Name:Printed Name: PrintedSignature:Printed Name:Printed Name: PrintedDate:

I am aware that I must be paying income tax or capital gains tax equal to the tax we reclaim from the Inland Revenue.

Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, we get an extra 28 pence from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation
to go further. This means that £10 can be turned into £12.80 at no extra cost to you. All you have to do is sign the above Gift
Aid Declaration and send it with your donation to us. For HOPE to be able to claim Gift Aid, you must be paying income tax or capital gains tax, equal to the tax we reclaim from the Inland Revenue.

2. Make a regular donation: Give As You Earn/Payroll Giving

You may decide to set up a standing order which will enable you to give your gift regularly and directly through your bank
account – this method is simple, convenient and you are in complete control over how much you give and can cancel at any
time. Most of all, regular gifts provide us with guaranteed income we can rely on and this helps us plan ahead. Give As You
Earn (GAYE) is a tax efficient way of making a regular donation.

To make a regular donation, please print a copy of our Give As You Earn Form (in PDF format on the right) complete it, and give it to your employer. For more information about GAYE donations, please email or call us.

3. I want to remember HOPE in my will:

You can make a real contribution to the future, and suffer no financial loss during your lifetime, by leaving a legacy to HOPE and even better, any gifts you make to HOPE in your will are exempt from Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax.

If you are thinking of making a Will, or amending an existing one, we recommend that you contact a solicitor or professional advisor.
