Welcome To Hope for Austism

HOPE for autism was established by a group of mothers who were unable to access the help they needed for their children in North Lanarkshire.

In 2002 HOPE became a registered charity and established a support group for parents and carers, HOPE is the only post diagnostic service in North Lanarkshire.

In June 2006 HOPE moved to the HOPE Centre in Chapel Street, Airdrie and now provide activity groups for young people aged 4 - 21 years of age over 6 days.

HOPE has Big Lottery funding until 2012, other funding comes from a variety of Trusts & Foundations . Presently, we employ three full-time staff members and seventeen part-time workers and volunteers. HOPE is governed by a Board of Directors.

With increasing representation in the area now totalling 230 families, demand for our services is extremely high; HOPE is the only post-diagnostic service in North Lanarkshire.
